Landscape Photography | El Matador Beach Malibu

Sometimes simplicity can be refreshing! When all the elements fall into place on their own, you don’t need to overcomplicate the shot with too much gear, timing or setup. While in Malibu, California we decided to check out El Matador Beach. Despite the rain, it was a beautiful morning on the water. Armed with just my camera and 24-70mm lens I was free to snap photo after photo and capture the gloomy feeling of the day. I liked how the sky and water blend seamlessly into the background of each shot. It’s these brief moments that remind me why I fell in love with photography in the first place!

Post Processing & Camera Settings.

To process this image, I used the Presetpro Creative Flow Lightroom Presets, Profiles, and Brushes. To finalized this image I imported it into Photoshop and ACR to color correct and sharpen.
