Landscape Photography | Across The Landscape
This photo was taken just off the side of the road in Iceland! We explored the island for eight days in a small rented camper van so that we could jump out and snap photos whenever anything interesting came along, which was every 15 minutes if I’m being honest! Iceland was formed from volcanic eruptions and this photo really demonstrates what millions of years of geothermal activity really looks like! Everything from the black rocks in the foreground to the line of towering mountains in the distance tells the story of this country’s unique landscape. The spaces are so vast and empty that you can see easily see miles into the distance. If you look closely at the photo you’ll see a white vehicle traveling along the road, which really allows you to appreciate just how beautifully empty many parts of the island really are. I’m looking forward to the next time I get to photograph this amazing place!
