HDR Photography “Pastel Sky Over Venice” – Here’s a shot that I took in Venice, Italy! I love starting the day early when traveling, especially when you’re in a beautiful place like Venice. The morning sky can provide you with a pallet of colors that seems to change by the minute! My best advice is to scope out a great view the day before, get up early, park your camera and watch the show! If you look closely, you can see another photographer setting up in the distance!

Post Processing “Pastel Sky Over Venice” – I took three bracketed shots EV (-2, 0, +2). I used Lightroom on the middle exposure (EV, 0) to create a couple of different creative versions. Next I combined the original three EV (-2, 0, +2) RAW files into Aurora HDR and also Photomatix to create two HDR versions. Finally, I blended all my different “versions” into Photoshop to get the final image!
