HDR Photography – Mountain Clouds

HDR Photography “Mountain Clouds” – Here’s a shot that I took in Gimmelwald, Switzerland! This tiny village sits on the edge of a steep cliffside, high above valley floor. While photographing this area I enjoyed probably the most scenic hikes I have ever experienced in my life! When I think of my “happy place” I always think of this little peace of heaven.

Post Processing “Into the Valley” – I took three bracketed shots EV (-2, 0, +2). I used Lightroom on the middle exposure (EV, 0) to create a couple of different creative versions. Next I combined the original three EV (-2, 0, +2) RAW files into the New Aurora HDR and also Photomatix to create two different HDR versions. Finally, I blended all my different “versions” into Photoshop to get the final image!
