HDR Photography – Follow The Light
Follow The Light: Here’s a photo that I took in Lower Antelope Canyon, Arizona. While exploring the Canyon I had a few moments alone to compose this shot. For the edit, I wanted to capture the feeling of being in a dark canyon and looking up to see the cool colors transform seamlessly into a fiery warm light. The lines that naturally exist in the sandstone encourages your eye to dance around the image and swirl all the way up to the light. Hence the name “Follow the Light.”
Post Processing “Follow The Light” – I took three bracketed shots EV (-2, 0, +2) and combined them in Lightroom to create an HDR image. Then I used Lightroom on a single exposure (EV, 0) to create a couple of different creative versions. Finally, I blended all my “versions” into Photoshop to get the final image!
