Presetpro-Tim-Martin-Photographer   After flying under the radar for a few years, I’ve decided to share a little more about myself. Growing up, I’ve always had a passion for the arts. Whether it was: painting, sculpting, or sketching, I was always creating something. I loved exploring the outdoors which was a huge inspiration for my art projects. When I got my first camera, I finally found a medium that ties everything that I love together: nature, travel, and art. I started playing around with Adobe Lightroom and I began to create my own presets. I launched my first website: freepresets.com a few years ago so that I could share my presets with other photographers and Lightroom enthusiasts. It was a natural progression into Photoshop Actions and other products from there. I received a warm reception from the online community, which allowed me to pursue Photography, Travel, and Presets as a full-time career. I am truly grateful, thank you for all the support! I’ve devoted the last few years of my life to travel photography. My wife and I have been lucky enough to photograph The United States, Canada, and various other countries throughout Europe. Over the next two years, we will be taking trips to; Iceland, New Zealand, and Asia. Feel free to subscribe to my Weekly Newsletter and follow along. I send out a new Free Lightroom Preset every week along with some of my travel photos from around the world. Thank you for stopping by, and don’t forget to say hello on social media! – Tim Martin

My Camera Gear

Please note that I am not sponsored or affiliated with any of the products/camera gear listed below. The gear list is for those who are curious about some of the camera equipment I use. – Tim Martin

“Love This Camera” – Sony a7r II  sony_a7r_mark_ii_digital_1433908800000_1159878

I currently use the Sony a7r II as my main camera! I started my love affair with Sony after I purchased the Sony a7r (with 36.4MP) and of course two months later, Sony launched the Sony a7r II (with 42.4MP). I wasn’t too concerned about the mega pixels, but with all the updated features for shooting HDR… it made it a little to tempting 🙂

“The Handy Lens” – Sony FE 24-70mm f/4 sony_sel2470z_vario_tessar_t_fe_24_70mm_1381896000000_1008126

A fantastic all around lens to keep things light when traveling. The Sony Vario-Tessar T* FE 24-70mm f/4 ZA OSS Lens is a wide-angle to portrait-length zoom lens that features a constant f/4 maximum aperture to support consistent performance in regards to exposure settings and focus placement throughout the zoom range.

“The Wide Sony” – Sony FE 16-35 f/4 sony_sel1635z_vario_tessar_t_e_16_35mm_1410753600000_1082052

The perfect match for the Sony a7r and a7r II, it’s almost like it was made for them 😉 The Sony Vario-Tessar T* FE 16-35mm f/4 ZA OSS Lens covers your wide-angle zoom needs and is designed for full-frame E-mount cameras. It can also be used on APS-C E-mount cameras as well.

“The Night Lens” – Ziess Batis 18mm f/2.8Zeiss Batis18mm f2.8

This super sharp lens is fantastic for night and astro photography! The Batis 18mm is fully compatible with all E-mount cameras. The Batis line comes with fast autofocus and a OLED display providing information about distance and depth of field when using manual focus. It also has great protection/weather sealing against dust and water spray.
